Project Overview

Bridge Power Plant II – Ghana (Phase 2): Expansion phase with five (5) GE TM2500 gas turbines (40 MW each), a Triveni steam turbine (80 MW), CMI boilers, SCADA by EMPRESARIOS AGRUPADOS, and integrated ABB TA800 DCS system.

The Challenge

Expanding the existing facility while maintaining continuous operations of Phase I generation units required meticulous planning to avoid disruption and careful coordination of tie-ins to existing systems.

Our Solution

We designed Phase II to be as independent as possible during construction, with integration points carefully planned and executed during scheduled outages. A detailed phased construction plan allowed new equipment installation while Phase I remained operational.
